Office Solitaire is one of the most traditional and entertaining card games available providing the solver with hours of fun and challenge. The aim of the game is to have all the cards from Ace to King sorted into their respective suits in the foundation piles. This timeless variant of solitaire can be easily learned but requires logical thinking to win.
The game is set up with 7 tableau stacks in the center of the playing field. The 1st stack will have 1 card, the second stack will have two cards, and the seventh stack will have seven cards.
Your goal is to uncover the remaining cards and make sequences with the cards available on the tableau. Cards can be dealt from the deck anytime you need additional options.
When all cards have been dealt, you need to move them all to the foundation piles located at the top of the playing field. All foundations are headed by an ace and move up through the king, with all cards being of the same suit.
Cards can be placed on other tableau stacks only if it is of the opposite color and one rank higher than the card it is being placed on.
To do well in Office Solitaire, you need to move your cards wisely. When you're moving cards, try to find hidden cards as often as you can; whenever you find a hidden card, it gives you more possible moves.
Try to create alternating colored sequences; this will both organize the tableau and provide you with more available moves. Try to build in as many available spaces as you can. Only a King or a King-and-following can move into the available space.
Before you take any cards from the stock, analyze your tableau; there is a good chance there is a beneficial move to make already.
