Fairway Solitaire

Description

Fairway Solitaire is a unique card game themed on golf. You simply remove the cards by arranging the cards in order one level higher or lower than the one shown.

How to play

The goal of the game is to arrange a certain quantity of playing cards in a specific layout on the table. After that, you choose a card at random from the deck to use as your starting hand and attempt to move one position higher or lower. If you draw a 7, for instance, you should search the table for a 6 or an 8. Make it a goal to start a winning streak, either one higher or one lower. Therefore, if you had an 8, you could go 9, 10, Jack, Queen, then back down, Jack, 10, 9, and up again. This would be possible because of the 8's versatility.

Special cards in the game Fairway Solitaire

Water Hazards: You have to get rid of all the blue-colored cards from the table before you can play the cards on the right side of the screen.

Sand Traps: You have to get rid of the "sand wedge" card from the table before you can play the pile of cards on the right side of the screen.

Iron Cards: These are green cards (from 2 to 9) that show a certain golf club. They can be taken off the table whenever. The golf club in the picture will be added to the player's right-bottom stock of golf clubs. A golf club can be used at any time, like when a person is stuck. If you don't use a golf club on a hole, you can still use it on the next hole. Keep in mind that using an iron card or a club won't stop the present move.

Wild Cards: Cards that are shown at random while the game is going on. A person can either choose an unknown random event that could be good or bad, or they can take a drop, which costs them one card. Some examples of good chance events are getting rid of a card you want or getting a perfect score on a hole. If something goes wrong, a card could be taken out of the store.
